Assassin’s Creed Codename RED Revealed
Assassin's Creed Codename RED is set in feudal Japan and it will be part of Assassin's Creed Infinity. The showcase did not reveal the release date and it isn't expected until early 2024.
Assassin's Creed players have been asking for feudal Japan for more than a decade since the game was released in 2007 and they can finally look forward to it! If you missed the official reveal trailer, you can watch it here.
Assassin's Creed Codename RED will be part of Assassin's Creed Infinity which will be a platform or hub for future titles in the series that will launch. Ubisoft developer shared last year in an update that Infinity will "evolve in a more integrated and collaborative manner that's less centered on studios and more focused on talent and leadership."
Assassin's Creed Codename RED is still way ahead of us, so players can look forward to Assassin's Creed Mirage. Ubisoft will release Mirage in 2023 and it reportedly started as an expansion to Valhalla before it was created into its own game.
Assassin's Creed is an open-world action-adventure stealth video game franchise published by Ubisoft and first released in Nov. 2007. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the latest release of the franchise in 2020.
