AEW: Fight Forever comes out in just two days, and fans want to know if any ROH wrestlers are featured in the game.
AEW live shows frequently showcase wrestlers from different brands, like New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Ring of Honor. The seamless collaborations allow AEW viewers to become fans of other promotions and wrestlers they might not have known previously.
With such an eclectic roster across all three promotions, the potential lineup of wrestlers in AEW: Fight Forever is limitless. So, will any ROH wrestlers appear in AEW: Fight Forever?
Are ROH Wrestlers in AEW: Fight Forever?
There are no ROH wrestlers in AEW: Fight Forever. Even though many ROH wrestlers also compete in AEW, they are not featured in the video game. ROH World Champion, Claudio Castagnoli, and ROH Pure Champion, Katsuyori Shibata, would be great additions to the game in Season 1.
There are also no NJPW wrestlers in the game at launch. In an exclusive interview with SEScoops, AEW SVP Nik Sobic said, "We're excited to see the feedback and what people want to see more of." He detailed AEW's great relationship with New Japan and assured fans that "new characters and new leagues" are on the table for the future.
For now, AEW: Fight Forever is focused on getting their own full roster in the game. Wrestlers like FTR, HOOK, and Danhausen will only be available post-launch.
