Apex Legends Season 13 Legend Tier List

Our Apex Legends Season 13 Legend tier list is here to break down which of the characters are the best to use now that the meta has been shifted once again with the launch of Respawn Entertainment's latest major balancing update.

With the Saviors patch, not only we did get a hefty new Fortified character in Newcastle, but there were also a handful of pretty relevant nerfs and buffs to others in the existing roster. As such, here is how the Legends stack up at the start of Apex Legends: Season 13 Saviors.

Apex Legends: Saviors Legend Rankings

S Tier

  • Gibraltar
  • Valkyrie
  • Bloodhound

Kicking off the list are the three Legends that remain no-brainer, consistently useful picks in all formats. Outside of Gibraltar's Fortified Perk no longer reducing headshot damage by 15%, all of these Legends saw no changes with the launch of Defiance and thus will continue to be as dominant as they have been with what they're known for. With the ability to cover up any mistake with a bubble, Gibraltar continues to make every other character adapt to his moves. Valkyrie's jetpacks are good, her Missile Swarm is good and her ultimate is a free balloon, although it's not as safe since she can no longer freely spin while launching. Bloodhound's wallhacks and speedhacks remain broken.

A Tier

  • Wraith
  • Caustic
  • Ash
  • Horizon
  • Loba
  • Newcastle
  • Octane
  • Crypto

In A Tier are six Legends that have seen no changes, remaining solid picks for any squad. Perhaps the most annoying character in the game, Caustic remains a solid pick. With a good hitbox and a portal, Wraith perhaps remains the best aggressive character in the game, albeit Ash and Octane remain strong alternatives. Ash is pretty balanced overall and has basically replaced Octane as the best Legend to capitalize off of damage. Horizon still has a good ultimate, but her Gravity Lift definitely could use some love from Respawn. Loba is a straightforward character to master, and her low-impact ceiling is only worsened if there are more Lobas in the lobby. For now, we'll be slotting the newbie, Newcastle, in here thanks to his strong revive ability, electrified fortress cover and movable shield. Remaining to be one of the most popular Legends in the game by far, Octane is undeniably fun to play for W-keyers. Crypto is really strong in pro play as he can give his team plenty of information with zone knowledge, but arguably isn't all that useful in ranked.

B Tier

  • Revenant
  • Fuse
  • Wattson
  • Pathfinder

These four Legends sit more in the middle of the pack, remaining viable in the right hands despite seeing some tough nerfs over time. Revenant isn't the most exciting pick at the moment, while Wattson and Fuse are interesting opposites as the former helps her team get their shields back and the latter takes shields from everyone else. Pathfinder's less-than-desirable hitbox makes him a bit of a tough pick.

C Tier

  • Seer
  • Bangalore
  • Mad Maggie
  • Lifeline
  • Mirage
  • Rampart

Six Legends that remain underwhelming picks in the meta, Seer, Bangalore, Mad Maggie, Lifeline, Mirage and Rampart find themselves in the C Tier. Although there are always those who can find success with these Legends, these six are often found in the bottom of tier lists as they're either outclassed, very situational or simply don't offer much to help the team. Rampart did see quite a nice boost with her kit in the latest patch, however, so time will tell if that reflects any improvements in her pick rate.
