Apex Legends Pro 'Aceu' Claims Seer is Good in Current Third-Party Meta

It looks like Seer has found new footing in the current third-party playstyle meta, according to one Apex Legends pro.

In an Apex Legends stream broadcast on April 25 via his verified Twitch channel, Brandon "aceu" Winn made some pretty strong claims about Season 10's debut Legend, Seer.

Players likely remember Seer not only as the Legend that headlined Season 10: Emergence but also as the Legend who fell from grace due to an overpowered release. Shortly following his launch, Respawn Entertainment issued a series of nerfs that permanently cut Seer's time in the limelight — or so we thought.

Aceu Claims Seer is Good in Current Third-Party Meta

According to Aceu, Seer is one of the best picks right now due to his utility in the current third-party meta.

For those unaware, "third-partying" refers to the practice of swooping in after a fight between two teams to eliminate the now-weakened winner of the fight. This has become commonplace in Apex Legends — especially with Legends whose kits help them find injured opponents easily. Additionally, as Aceu explains during his stream, Seer's kit is near-perfectly tailored to both lead and foil third-party attempts.

"I think Seer's good because...its a third-party meta...and being able to stop meds and rezzes with your Q when you're third-partying someone is huge," he explained, "Also, your ult is pretty good for preventing third-parties because you can tell where they're at."

Could Seer see an uptick in his pick rate this upcoming season? Time will tell if other players take aceu's advice and give this Legend another chance centerstage.
