While there is no friendly-fire in Apex Legends, there are still plenty of ways to mess with your team in a not-so-serious game, whether it be on purpose or by accident. One Reddit user found a new way to troll against your team, accidentally sending them into a portal using Valkyrie's Ultimate ability.
Valkyrie's Ultimate allows the player to initiate a skydive from anywhere on the map, as long as there's nothing above you, and to take your team with you to escape a rough situation. The ability can be useful with enemies coming down on you or just to quickly get out of an area. However, players have to be careful with this ability, as seen by Reddit user KaiLoVan's clip with their team.
When KaiLoVan initiates the skydive using Valkyrie to get their team out of the circle into a safe area, launch goes normal. That is until when the team reaches the peak of their launch, the user accidentally sends the two teammates into an above portal, leaving them behind in the circle while the user dives towards safety by themself.
It was an honest mistake not to notice the portal right above them, but created an hilarious clip with the team's response. KaiLoVan has no clue what happened until looking back and seeing the teammates all the way back where the launch first started. It's unclear if those teammates then were eliminated, however, it would be tough to travel all the way out of the circle after the failed launch.
Next time you initiate a skydive with your team using Valkyrie's Ultimate, just be careful what's above you, you might just leave your teammates behind and seal their fate.
