The re-imagining of 1992 survival horror game Alone in the Dark is set to get a collector's edition, but you'll need to be quick if you want to secure one.
THQ Nordic decided to release a collector's edition of the game, but only 5,000 copies will be available and they cost $199. The collector's edition is individually numbered, and the first 20 will only be available at the THQ Nordic store in Vienna.
The 5,000th copy is already promised to the Embracer Games Archive, so only 4,979 will be available to purchase either directly through the THQ Nordic online store or from selected retail partners.
As the video above shows, there are plenty of extras in this edition, including:
The Dark Man -Statue 26cm / 10in height

THQ Nordic is also limiting the physical PC standard edition to 3,500 copies worldwide, which will be offered in a similar way to the collector's edition: 20 at the Vienna store, one to Embracer, and the rest available via the online store or retailers.
Alone in the Dark is set for release on Oct. 25 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Pieces Interactive, THQ Nordic describes the game as a "love letter to the ground-breaking original" and a "re-imagination of the classic survival horror game."
Fans of the original should also enjoy the difference 31 years of game technology advancements make to the experience, regardless of which platform they choose to play the game on. We'll also get to enjoy voice acting from Jodie Comer (Killing Eve, Free Guy) and David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow).
THQ Nordic promises to reveal more about the game at a digital showcase being held on Aug. 11 at 3pm ET.
