AEW: Fight Forever comes out in a few days, and fans want to know all the match types included in the game.
All Elite Wrestling is always looking for ways to set themselves apart from the WWE, and their upcoming video game is no exception. AEW: Fight Forever features arcade-style graphics and nostalgic gameplay for fans to enjoy as they play as their favorite AEW wrestlers.
The game also includes nine different match types, ranging from a classic singles match to a Casino Battle Royale. The main draws, though, are the two matches you can only play in AEW: Fight Forever.
AEW: Fight Forever Match Types: Full List
The AEW: Fight Forever match types are as follows:
- Singles
- Tag-Team
- Triple Threat
- Fatal Four Way
- Ladder match
- Casino Battle Royale
- Falls Count Anywhere
- Unsanctioned Lights Out
- Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch
Although most of the match types are found in any wrestling game, AEW: Fight Forever has a few exclusive stipulations that give players a new experience. Unsanctioned Lights Out matches are not official matches and therefore follow very little rules. Players will be able to use any weapons they want, anywhere in the arena, to secure a victory.
The most exciting match type, though, is the Exploding Barbed Wire Death match. Barbed wire coils around all the ropes, and all weapons are legal. When a player touches the barbed wire, an explosion occurs that can possibly injure both players. If the match is not over in 30 minutes, the entire ring will explode.
AEW: Fight Forever comes out on June 29.
